Course Packaging for the Australia Student Visa Subclass 500 Holders

The holders of the Australian Student Visa Subclass 500 can now apply to take two or additional courses. There will be a conspicuous progression between courses which is known as the course packaging.

The last course chosen as a part of a course package will be the main or principal study course. The course chosen will be used to establish the requirements for Finance and English Language.

If the visa applications for the students includes course packaging then, they can only have less than 2 calendar months elapsing between the courses. The international students must confirm that they are registered in all the courses to obtain the Australia Student Visa Subclass 500 for the entire course packaging duration.

The academic years ends in November and the new academic year begins again in February. As per the Home Affairs Government of Australia, these 3-4 months gap will be accepted between the courses. The period of course packaging must not go beyond the upper limit from the visa grant period.

If anyone already holds an Australian Student Visa, then the start and end date of the course can be affected and the swap of courses within the same sector would be possible.

Visa can be cancelled on enrolling in a fresh course and extending the course gap. In these scenarios, one can choose to enrol in short courses in order to fill up the gap. The short courses can be from any sector like vocational training or education, ELICOS and higher education.
