BSMQ Will Resume the Skilled Nomination Programs in July 2019 after a Lapse

BSMQ (Business and Skilled Migration Queensland) has shut down business and skilled nomination programs for the financial year 2018-19 due to federal government quota. When the criteria and new QSOL lists are available, the programs will be reopened in July 2019. Business and Skilled Migration Queensland (BSMQ) which is a state nominating body of business unit of Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) nominates skilled applicants who want to establish their business in Queensland.

On 6th March 2019, BSMQ staff Lin Han and Marney Richardson will attend Continuing Professional Development Webinar along with the Migration Institute of Australia and educate registered migration agents about skilled nomination criteria and Queensland business. They would also assist the migration agents in decision ready application.

The Migration Institute of Australia provides migration advice to various clients such as students, workers, families, humanitarian entrants, employers, and settled migrants. It is also the primary provider of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities to keep track and document the knowledge, skills and the experience gained formally and informally as you are engaged in work. BSMQ will also take part in TIQ’s Attract funding workshops which is a part of the Business Growth Essentials Series on 5th march in Toowoomba and Mackay. Manager Greg McKean, Senior Project Officer Marney Richardson, and Principal Project Officer Lin Han are the speakers from the team.
